LIST OF ISSUES
Education
I believe every child has a right to an adequate education. I believe public education is a bedrock of our society and is one of the elements that has made New Hampshire great.
Food Security
I believe that no American should go hungry. I am particularly concerned about the high percentage of children that suffer from food insecurity.
The Environment and Climate Change
I believe in science. I believe that the burning of fossil fuels creates greenhouse gasses that trap heat in our atmosphere which is leading to global warming and climate change. I believe that the change to our climate is causing significant problems to our society through forest fires, flooding, storms and sea level rise. I believe that these effects will only get worse in the future. Quite likely significantly worse.
I believe that we need to address this issue and the government created solutions are the only way to do this.
Housing
I have long believed that no-one in our society should go without a roof over their head. I believe that adequate, affordable housing is a real issue in our state.
I have supported the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness and the Family Promise Program both financially and through volunteerism.
Healthcare
I believe that every American should have access to at least a basic provision of healthcare.
